Steve Mack of Framing Interiors
Steve Mack of Framing Interiors of San Rafael has kindly agreed to be available at Friday's event to answer any and all questions about custom framing and matting and other presentation related questions you might have about how to present and prepare artwork for display. Steve has owned and operated his custom framing business for over 28 years and has an experienced eye for aesthetics which you'll be hard pressed to find elsewhere.
C Ribet and Garuda Woven Art
We've selected the Garuda woven art for the raffle and will be letting the lucky winner of the Garuda to take either of two rugs which will be on display or to choose any custom woven 4x6 Garuda ($1200 value) as their prize. Upgrades are available. C Ribet works will be debuted at the event itself. We'll have both a silent art auction of C Ribet and we will include at least one C Ribet work in the raffle. We want you guys to leave this event happy!
Gallery California Art Show Musicians: Fazz and Farzad Arjmand
The musicians performing for the Friday night preview event for the Off the Wall Celebration of C Ribet will be Farzad Arjmand and Fazz. Fazz is San Francisco's premiere flamenco-jazz ensemble, blending Spanish romanticism and 'flamboyant fusion' with Farzad's rich acoustic guitar. "Captivating and takes you to another place..." Be sure to RSVP to participate in this special celebratory event on Friday before Saturday's public opening. We are looking forward to seeing you all there at the opening.
Sausalito Spring Faire - family oriented Sausalito art festival
See you next year! Notes from the events page: The Sausalito Spring Faire is held the first weekend in May in beautiful downtown Sausalito. Our 36th Annual Faire will be held on the weekend of May 6th and 7th, 2006. Enjoy 100+ artists, fine food, wine, live music and a children's entertainment area featuring music, theater and activities just for kids! Admission to the Spring Faire is free. This family oriented Sausalito art festival benefits the Sausalito Nursery School.

Gallery California site work
We are still working on improving the new Gallery California site. We've added some dynamic slide shows so you don't have to click around so much to see a wider variety of the gallery photography. Please make sure javascript is enabled on your web browser to see the gallery slideshow.

Javascript links to Gallery Pages
Added some more dynamic content at the home page (and possibly to sidebar) to use Javascript to enable changing links into the main gallery store. If you have trouble viewing the javascript 'Dynamic Preview' or any of the 'Static Preview' pagelets in the sidebar or main pages, please let us know. Each time you load the page you should be presented with a different table of links into the main art gallery section at the secure Yahoo store.
Off the Wall Celebration - hours decided
We've set the hours for the Off the Wall Celebration. The main opening event will be from 11 am until 5 pm on Saturday, July 29. If you are in the area, please visit us Saturday. The exclusive preview on Friday for trade only will run from 4 pm until 9 pm on Friday, July 28. Please RSVP to Marin Floor at (415) 453-3310 to attend the Friday event. If you will attend Saturday, and RSVP will help us plan, but it not required. See the main events page for details as we get closer to the event. It will be a great show with lots of new C Ribet to be had!
Show Poster will be The Yin and the Yang
As you have probably figured out now if you've looked at the events pages, we have decided to use The Yin and the Yang as the image for the show announcement posters and invitations. This keeps the wraps on the new works to be released at the show, and it's a great image which works well when printed on other media. We'll have show posters from previous events at the show as well.
New C Ribet Limited Editions for Show
I am working on some great new images for the upcoming show. I'll probably pick one of the new images for a show poster as well which will be available at the event. More as work progresses and maybe a preview or two...
Off the Wall Celebration
Preparations for the Off the Wall Celebration event (July 29) are underway. The first show posters are printing and this web site is getting a huge facelift in preparation for the big event! I hope this will be as successful as our benefit auction in Santa Rosa last fall.
